Historic Centre Street is the main artery in the heart of downtown Fernandina Beach. Centre Street is eight blocks long and anchored by the city’s harbor. Vintage buildings line the sidewalks where boutiques, restaurants, banks, churches, watering holes, a courthouse, and post office can be found. It’s where the past meets the present.

In addition to downtown, Amelia Island’s Old Town is also a designated historic district; along with the Amelia Island Lighthouse, the Peck Center and the Oxley-Heard Funeral Home, which are individually designated historic district sites.
