Franz Liszt’s Tre Sonetti di Petrarca: A Lecture Recital featuring Dr. James Hall, tenor and Denise Wright, piano
Speaker: Dr. James Hall, Associate Professor of Voice, UNF School of Music
Join Dr. James Hall as he examines composer Franz Liszt’s famous settings of 14th-century poet, Francesco Petrarca’s settings of the Laura Sonnets. Historical context, musical and poetic analysis, and a live performance will be included.
Reservations are required. While tickets are free, a donation of $10 would be gratefully appreciated in support of UNF undergraduate education.
