Island Hopper

Nassau County Council on Aging (NCCOA), which operates Nassau TRANSIT, relaunches the Island Hopper public transportation service on Saturdays – anywhere and everywhere on Amelia Island. All Nassau TRANSIT operators and vehicles, including the Island Hopper, are credentials to federal and state requirements and are wheelchair accessible. For more information, contact Nassau TRANSIT at 904-261-0700.

Hours of operation: Saturdays – 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Fare: $2/person

Nassau Express Select

The Nassau Express Select service is a partnership between the Jacksonville Transportation Authority and Nassau County Council on Aging. This executive-style commuter service between Nassau County and downtown Jacksonville comes equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and USB charging ports. With two morning trips and three afternoon trips per weekday, Nassau Express Select offers comfortable, convenient, affordable transportation to downtown Jacksonville’s museums, theaters, restaurants, and world-class medical facilities.

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Fares:

$3 – one-way pass
$5 – one-day pass
$90 – 31-day pass

Ztrip Book a Ride

The Ztrip mission is to use mobility to enhance the lives of customers, driver partners and employees including wheelchair accessible vehicles and drivers that are trained on how to load and service those in the community with disabilities.
