Continued from our July 23 event Florida ranks #1 in the nation for banning books and accounts for 40 percent of all books banned nationwide.
A panel of community members with backgrounds in education and library science address what’s at stake when books are banned: the consequences, both intended and unintended. Everyone is invited to listen and learn about this timely and important topic.
Plan to stay for a reception after the panel presentation to discuss book banning with others.
