Tonight, we’re channeling our inner Creole and heading to Lagniappe, where every dish comes with “a little something extra.” Nestled in the heart of Amelia Island, this gem combines the rich traditions of French Creole cuisine with Southern flair—all crafted with the freshest local ingredients.
A Culinary Love Story:
Chef-co-owner Brian Grimley didn’t start out in the kitchen—he started in engineering! But after realizing he loved the work he did to pay for college more than his career, he followed his passion for food. Now, alongside Executive Chef Brett Heritage, a Fernandina Beach local, the two create absolute magic in the kitchen.
What’s on the Menu?
Start with something shareable—because good food is meant to be enjoyed together! The Charcuterie & Cheese Board is a must, as is the Hand-Cut Calamari, kicked up a notch with Thai chili sauce and sriracha.
For the main event, choose from dishes that are as bold as they are delicious:
Blue Corn Crusted Catfish over Hoppin’ John, crawfish étouffée & pickled collards
Panko-Crusted Chicken Breast with champagne mushroom cream sauce
Fried Lobster Tails with house slaw, hush puppies & grilled lemon
Thai Red Mixed Vegetable Curry with Carolina Gold rice (a veggie lover’s dream!)
Cocktails, Anyone?
Pair your meal with one of Lagniappe’s signature cocktails, inspired by the vibrant spirit of the South. Whether you love a classic Old Fashioned, a glass of bubbly, or prefer something new and unexpected, the bar has something for every palate.
Dine in Style:
Soak in the swanky interior or take it outside to the patio—either way, you’re in for a meal to remember. Whether you’re here for a special night out or just looking to treat yourself (because you deserve it!), Lagniappe will have you saying, laissez les bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!)
Bon appétit, Amelia Island!
