Spring will be here before we know it, and with it comes a calendar brimming with exciting events sure to delight locals and visitors alike. From car enthusiasts to music aficionados and culinary connoisseurs, there’s a little something for everyone.

February 1 – 2. Storytelling, whether in spoken or musical form, is an art form that preserves our history, celebrates diversity, and perpetuates important elements of the human experience in an entertaining, engaging form. Welcome to the inaugural Amelia Island Festival of Stories & Songs!
February – June. The Chamber Music Festival takes center stage showcasing 23+ years of awe-inspiring performances. Among many, this year’s highlights include classical pianist, Jeremy Denk who, according to the New York Times is “one of America’s foremost pianists…a pianist you want to hear no matter what he performs”; and The Kruger Brothers, who weave melodies and stories with a unique blend of bluegrass. February 28 – March 1. Each February, Amelia Island becomes a literary destination when the annual Amelia Island Book Festival brings top New York Times bestelling authors to our sunny shores. This year’s festivities kick off on February 28 with the Authors in Schools (AIS) program where Nassau County students not only receive a book, but the book’s author is there to discuss it right in their own classroom or school auditorium! The actual festival begins on March 1 and offers readers the chance to connect with over 100 authors through breakout sessions, book signings, and engaging discussions.
March 5 – March 9. Start your engines for motoring events like no other! Concours Week is a week filled with seminars, films, parties, auctions, ride & drives and more. You won’t want to miss the renowned The Amelia, Concours d’Elegance where families enjoy car-themed fun all while admiring hundreds of vehicles not found anywhere else. March – December. The Sprouting Project is a monthly farm-to-table experience where guests dine on a featured seasonal ingredient grown directly from an on-site organic garden. Prior to a 5-course dinner, guests will tour the garden, aquaponic greenhouse, barrel room and apiary. The spring featured ingredients include Spring Herb (March 22), Allium (April 12), and Seed (May 3). Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa
April – October. Bring your lawn chairs and the family to the foot of Centre Street to enjoy a free outdoor concert held on the first Friday of each month. Classic rock, blues, oldies and more fill the waterfront area during the Sounds on Centre series. Historic downtown Fernandina Beach
April 10 – 12. The Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival honors the craft of songwriting by highlighting some of todays top songwriters in the music industry. Attendees can expect not only live performances of chart-topping hits but also captivating stories and insights into the creative process behind the music. It’s the coolest event around. April 19, 10am – 3pm. Come shellabrate Mother Earth and the annual arrival of Sea Turtles. This family friendly event is free and will have conservation exhibits, a Kids Korner with educational activities, local live music, food trucks and a Vendor Village – all to raise awareness to the threats of sea turtles and our environment. May 2 – 4. Amelia Island and shrimp go back a long way. After all, we are the birthplace of the modern shrimping industry. Help us celebrate our love of all things shrimp with a parade, arts & crafts, live music on the waterfront, the crowning of Miss Shrimp Festival, and of course dozens of booths serving wild caught shrimp. May 15 – 18. Fish to Fork celebrates the island’s coastal cuisine with renowned chefs from around the country showcasing their fishing and culinary skills in an epicurean showdown. It’s an unmatched foodie experience, with true dock-to-dish specialties in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa
May 17, 10am – 4pm. The 2025 Wild Amelia Nature Festival celebrates 16 years of environmentally-based information, products and services that introduce residents and visitors to the magic of the amazing natural treasures of Amelia Island. Learn about the diverse ecosystems in our area and the wonderful creatures that inhabit them. Main Beach
