Captain Terry Lacoss has operated the Amelia Angler since 1978 and organized the Amelia Island Charter Boat Association in 1991. Captain Lacoss specializes in freshwater and saltwater fishing from bass to billfish. Sailing and sightseeing charters are also organized by Captain Terry Lacoss and his staff including Mary Lee Forehand, Kara Riggs, Mary Lacoss and Lisa Mills. Captain Lacoss is the only local angler to win money on the B.A.S.S. tour, IFA Redfish Tour, ESPN Redfish Tour, SKA Kingfish Tour and also first place honors outdoor writing by the Florida Press Association.
