While exploring Historic downtown Fernandina Beach, you’ll unlock 10% discounts at cool eateries and drinking establishments. As you interact with the game and each other, you’ll also earn points for completing a task, challenge or trivia question.
You can use the 10% discounts right then or come back to it for a special night out in December!
The more points you collect, the more prizes you can win! Links to the exclusive festival-themed prizes will be emailed to each participant after the program ends in January 2025. Each player will receive an email from a member of our Swag Staff with the prize order form(s) to redeem their points. Once the form is completed, your prize will be shipped in the mail!

What if I want to use a different phone to access the hunt after I’ve started playing?
On the original device, go to the menu and tap on “Settings.” Tap on “Transfer To Another Device” You will find instructions there on simple ways to transfer the game to another device without losing your points or progress.
What kind of device can I use to access the hunt?
You may use a mobile phone or tablet with connectivity to cellular service or Wi-Fi. Make sure you accept all permissions when downloading and opening the app.
Why can’t I download the app or get it to open?
If the app won’t open, you may not have enough storage on your device, or your device is not compatible with the app. Make sure your device is updated to the most current operating system.
Can I retake my profile picture in the hunt?
Once you have joined the hunt, you cannot change your profile picture. However, you are the only one who will see this photo. During the hunt, you may retake photos or videos to ensure you are happy with them before you finalize each task by hitting “submit.” These photos may be used for promotional purposes, as per the photo release you agree to in order to play and once submitted, cannot be changed.
Is there a public Wifi in the downtown Fernandina Beach / Amelia Island area?
You can connect to the open Wifi connection near the Amelia Island Welcome Center (102 Centre St).
How can I get the GPS hotspots to open up?
Make your way to the icons specified on the map. When you get close to the hotspot, the task should open up. If it doesn’t right away, keep moving toward it until it does. You may need to zoom in on the map to see how close you are to the pin. Phones act differently when it comes to GPS hotspots (see the next FAQ for help with Android Geofence Accuracy). If they still don’t open, make sure you have location services turned on in the app. This can be found in your phone’s settings under the Mobile Adventures app. Also ensure you have location services enabled on your own device settings.
